The Broighter Boat. A design by Alan Ardiff and Garrett Stokes, based on the
boat found at Broighter, County Derry in 1896, and which is on display at the
National Museum. Inscription reads:-

This rare cheeky bear stands approx 14 inches tall from top of hat to base of boot; mohair, fully jointed, wonderful; he carries in his pouch, the IRISH MILLENNIUM one pound or punt (IR£1) coin which depicts the Broighter Boat, a rare golden object found in Derry at the end of the 1800's. The coin is in uncirculated condition & extremely collectable just like this wonderful Merrythought Cheeky Leprechaun himself; not many left from an edition of just 250 pieces. €175 BARGAIN TIME!! |
